In Agricola, players step into the role of a farmer living in a modest wooden shack with their partner. Each turn allows for only two actions, one taken by you and one by your spouse. Choices range from gathering resources to creating meadows, allowing for a dynamic farm-building experience.
STRATEGIC TURN-BASED PLAY
The game unfolds over 14 rounds divided into six distinct stages, culminating in a Harvest at the end of select rounds (specifically after Rounds 4, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 14). Each player begins with two meeples, each capable of executing an action per round, ensuring strategic decision-making is essential.
SIMPLE YET ENGAGING GAMEPLAY
Agricola Family Edition features a simplified gameplay experience compared to its predecessor. Each round introduces a fixed new action option, while certain elements like stones and vegetables have been removed. Similar to ‘Agricola: All Creatures Big and Small’, buildings are now included to score points based on leftover resources at game end.
FREEDOM TO BUILD AND SCORE
In this version of the game, players experience fewer restrictions. There are no limitations on buildings or player boards, and the absence of negative points allows players to score based on all their achievements, enhancing the focus on creativity and strategy.
