Description
The flying V is perhaps the best general purpose antenna in the lower frequencies. Suitable for medium range and altitude, this antenna has slightly lower gain verses the coaxial connected Dipole, however has a very uniform radiation pattern. This is perfect for acrobatic and sport flying where antenna polarization (angle) can vary. The 120 deg V gives the best compromise between radiation pattern and gain.
