The SLA049LCG upgrade replaces the C-hub top link area and the adjacent support points near the front gearbox and center mount on Slash 4X4 models. Engineered for tuners who require controllable steering geometry changes, the kit enables length adjustment and adds a compact stabiliser at the upper mounting point.
Adjustment is achieved through the positioning hole on the tie rod: insert a thin tool and rotate the threaded section to vary effective length. All load-bearing components are manufactured from aluminium 6061 T6 to balance reduced mass and high tensile strength compared with standard polymer parts. The adjustable section employs a counter-clockwise thread for predictable tuning, and the triangular holder geometry improves lateral rigidity while preserving necessary suspension articulation.
The assembly is supplied as an 11-piece kit covering both sides of the front assembly and includes stainless mounting hardware sized for direct replacement of OEM top link fasteners. Install with common hex drivers and verify toe and steering endpoints on a workstand before dynamic testing.
